In a major win for athletes in Black Bush Poulder, Region 6, the Lesbeholden Community Centre Ground is now fully operational for night-time sports.

Cricket: Malteenoes U-17 Dominates Queen’s College

Action in the 2026 Enline Security Inc. U-17 50 Overs Tournament saw the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) secure a convincing victory over the students of Queen’s College.

  • MSC Innings: Batting first, Malteenoes posted a total of 206 in 43 overs, with Shane Shivbarran leading the charge with a top score of 34.
  • The Defense: Queen’s College struggled in their chase, eventually being bundled out for 117 in 37.1 overs. Nathaniel Harper was the star with the ball, returning figures of 3–8 to seal an 89-run win.

Dominoes: Sporting Community Mourns the Loss of Roberto Osborne

The National Sports Commission (NSC) has expressed profound sorrow following the sudden and unexpected passing of Roberto Osborne, Vice-President of the Guyana National Domino Federation.
