WIN Party Presidential Candidate Outlines Key Election Promises

Among the key pledges made to the electorate by We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) presidential candidate Aud Muhammad is the introduction of tax incentives aimed at easing financial pressures on families and businesses.
Speaking at a recent campaign stop, Muhammad also underscored his commitment to supporting small miners and cane cutters, particularly in Region 8, which he described as close to his heart.
โWhen I take office, I will return here to Region 8 to put systems in place for the small miners,โ Muhammad assured.
In addition, the candidate announced plans to establish a National Indigenous Peopleโs Holiday, honoring the heritage and contributions of Guyanaโs First Peoples.
Other major promises outlined include:
- Raising the old-age pension from $41,000 to $100,000.
- Increasing public assistance from $22,000 to $50,000.
- Expanding opportunities for youth, strengthening social services, and fostering national unity.
The WIN Party expressed optimism that these promises of empowerment and reform will resonate with voters as Guyana prepares for the upcoming elections.
