The People’s Progressive Party’s Presidential candidate and sitting President, Dr. Irfaan Ali, made an emotional appeal to supporters on Tuesday night during a political rally at Eccles, East Bank Demerara.
The Head of State urged citizens not to, as he put it, “vote out of spite,” warning that the nation’s development agenda would be derailed if the PPP/C is removed from office.
Ali emphasized that his government’s ongoing projects and long-term vision for Guyana require stability and continuity, insisting that progress can only be secured through a renewed mandate.
