POOR TEACHER TURNOUT AS SCHOOL REOPENS TO FACILITATE EXAMS

On Monday, schools reopened its doors after 4 months to facilitate the preparation of classrooms by the country’s educators and auxiliary staff. However, many teachers opted to stay at home in protest of the Education Ministry’s decision, and in conformity to the Guyana Teacher Unions call. Amel Griffith reports.
