SSignal Productions is gearing up for the third edition of the Phenomenal Women Concert, a showcase of music, poetry, and dance dedicated to the strength and resilience of womanhood.
The event, which has quickly become a staple of the March cultural calendar, is scheduled to take place this Sunday evening, March 15, 2026, at the historic Umana Yana in Kingston.
A Positive Counter-Narrative
Speaking with Nightly News on Friday, renowned musician and producer Bonny Alves explained that the concert was born out of a desire to see women celebrated in a “positive light” amidst troubling headlines of domestic violence and social challenges.

The concert will be headlined by the “Queen of Guyana’s Music,” Charmaine Blackman-Alves, who brings over 36 years of performance experience to the stage.
