Following the Inter-American Development Bank’s recent report, which shows Guyana’s inflation rate tripling in the last two years, Opposition Youth Policy & Economic Advisor Elson Lowe opined that the additional $60 billion Guyana earned in oil profits and royalties for the year 2022 should have been allocated towards the mitigation of the high living costs locally.
