The exhibition floor of the 2025 International Business Conference (IBC) has come alive with a vibrant showcase of cutting-edge solutions, emerging technologies, and market-ready products from across diverse industries.

Designed to foster collaboration and visibility, the exhibition serves as a hub for networking and innovation, where businesses engage directly with key decision-makers, investors, and industry leaders. Exhibitors are utilizing the platform to showcase their productsestablish partnerships, and bolster brand credibility in Guyana and the broader region.

Among the participants is Guyana Port Incorporated (GPI), which has been making waves in the maritime and oil sector since its establishment in 2019. Speaking with Nightly News, Marketing Associate Latoya Pereira expressed enthusiasm about GPI’s participation in this year’s event.

“What we do — we provide solutions. If you have a vessel that needs repair, we can handle that. If you plan to expand your fleet, we can build you a vessel, whether it’s a barge or a tug. And if you manage ports, we take care of dredging and other port management services,”
Latoya Pereira, Marketing Associate, Guyana Port Inc.

GPI’s participation highlights Guyana’s growing industrial and marine capabilities, particularly with the company operating the country’s only 2,000-metric-ton floating dry dock, measuring 80 meters in length and 60 meters in breadth. The facility offers comprehensive engineering, electrical, and marine fitting services, positioning the company as a major player in the region’s maritime development.

Other exhibitors on the floor include Target Logistics Inc., Annie, and Integrated Global Services, each showcasing innovations across logistics, manufacturing, and engineering.

The exhibition continues to serve as a dynamic space for business exchange, showcasing Guyana’s potential as a regional hub for innovation, trade, and sustainable development.
