Heritage Games 2025:
- Ongoing at Everest Sports Club, featuring 800 athletes from all 10 regions in football, cricket, archery, volleyball, swimming, and athletics.
- Highlights: Region 1 women crushed Region 2’s Akawini newcomers 10–0, with doubles from Chata and Aliyah Henry. Region 10 women beat Region 9 (6–1)—finals set for Sunday, Sept 28.
Football:
- GFF Elite League Season 7 continues this weekend with matches at Providence.
- The Georgetown Football Association Senior Men’s League also resumes Monday with two fixtures at the Police Sports Club ground.
Cricket (Local):
- The Flair U21 T20 Tournament runs from September 27–28 at Malteenoes Sports Club.
- Four youth teams compete for $150,000 champion’s prize. Final on Sept 28.
Cricket (International):
- The West Indies vs. Nepal historic T20 series starts on September 27 in the UAE.
- First bilateral T20 between the nations. WI led by Akeal Hosein; Nepal captained by Rohit Paudel—matches scheduled for Sept 27, 29, and 30.
