  • Table Tennis: 15-year-old  Jasmin Billingy was crowned Senior Women’s National Champion, dominating her matches at the National Gymnasium. She also won the doubles title with Samara Sukai.
  • Bodybuilding: Rosanna Fung captured first place at the Mexico Pro Wellness Weekend, a major win ahead of the IFBB World Championships in Dubai.
  • Football:
    • In the Women’s Division 1 League, Santos FC defeated Ann’s Grove United 2–0; Mainstay Gold Stars drew 1–1 with Rivers View FC.
    • In the Elite League, Slingers FC crushed Manette FC 10–1; GDF beat Santos FC 2–0; Den Amstel edged Fruta Conquerors 1–0.
  • Youth Football: President’s College and Bush Lot Secondary advanced to the next round of the Blue Waters U-15 Girls Championship, with standout performances from Louisa Pugsley and Ashanti Scott.
  • Cricket: The GCB announced squads for the upcoming Inter-County 50-Over Tournament starting October 11, featuring Demerara, Berbice, Essequibo, and a Select XI. In local play, GCC and DCC posted dominant victories, with centuries from Brandon Jaikaran and Travis Gadir.
