Leslyn Holder, Director of Nursing Services at Georgetown Public Hospital, shared with Nightly News’ Joel Vogt that the hospital operates at only 40% of its nursing capacity. Holder explained that the hospital has a total capacity of 1500 nurses, but only around 600 are employed at the facility. This information was disclosed during the ongoing International Nurses Week.
