Parents of children with special education needs in Region Five are now better equipped to support their children’s learning at home, thanks to a new initiative by the Ministry of Education.
This week, the ministry distributed academic support packages tailored to the specific requirements of learners with disabilities and learning challenges. The initiative forms part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure equity in education and provide meaningful support for parents and caregivers.
Officials from the Ministry emphasized that the rollout of these packages was guided by the principle of inclusive education, aimed at reducing barriers faced by children with special needs.
