CXC Results to Be Released on August 15

Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand, has confirmed that the results for the May–June 2025 CSEC and CAPE examinations will be released on Friday, August 15, 2025. Students will be able to access their grades online via the CXC Student Portal from 2:00 p.m.
The Minister acknowledged the poor regional performance in mathematics last year, noting that new CXC-wide initiatives will be rolled out in 2026 to address the issue. However, Guyana has already implemented its interventions, providing students with scientific calculators, graph books, all necessary textbooks, topic-organized past papers, and geometry sets to better prepare them for examinations.
Although the Ministry did not disclose the exact number of candidates for this year’s exams, it was noted that approximately 10,000 students were expected to sit both English Paper 2 and Mathematics.
