The Bishops’ High School is gearing up to usher in the festive season with its highly anticipated Winter in Wonderland Christmas Fair and Exposition, set for Saturday, December 13. Organizers say this year’s event will be the largest and most vibrant edition yet, promising a full day of entertainment, creativity, and family-oriented fun.
Senior Mistress Elizabeth Niles-Williams told Nightly News that the atmosphere will transform the school into a magical holiday village filled with activities for all ages.
“It’s going to be one of the biggest fairs ever thrown at The Bishops’ High School. It’s the Winter Wonderland Christmas Fair Village — everything you can think about,”
she said, describing the event as a can’t-miss experience.
The expo will feature a wide assortment of games, seasonal attractions, and culinary offerings from popular local vendors. A major highlight is the Mr. and Miss Bishops’ Grand Coronation Night, showcasing impressive performances from students who, teachers say, have surprised even their instructors with their talent and confidence.
Students from the Arts Club shared their excitement about the entertainment lineup, revealing that the special guest artiste will be Omaya Hall, a celebrated former student known for her vocal talent.
“Music is going to be blasting, it’s going to be lots of fun,”
a club member said.
“Our guest artiste is Omaya Hall… everybody must come out because it is the place to be on Saturday.”
Patrons can also look forward to a dunk tank, trampoline, photo booth for festive family portraits, and food from vendors such as Twisted Lemon and Wheat Tree.
Adding to the excitement is the much-anticipated Grinch vs. Santa Claus showdown, where visitors will be able to place fun bids on their predicted winner. Popular comedian Officer Bling and social media personality Jose Roberts are also expected to make special appearances.
With its blend of tradition, creativity, and modern flair, the Winter in Wonderland expo is shaping up to be one of the season’s standout events for families and students alike.
