$7 KILOGRAM COCAINE BUST: TWO MEN ARRESTED AFTER HADFIELD STREET STOP

HGP Nightly News – A routine stop on Hadfield Street turned into a major drug bust Monday afternoon.

Officers from the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number CL 4761 during an intelligence-led operation in Georgetown. When they searched the bike, they uncovered approximately seven kilograms of cocaine.

The two riders, identified as Jaleel Bagot and Quincy McDonald, were immediately arrested at the scene.

CANU has confirmed that investigations are ongoing as authorities work to determine the source of the drugs, their intended destination, and whether others were involved in the operation.

The seizure removes a significant quantity of illegal narcotics from the streets, though questions remain about how the drugs ended up on a motorcycle in the middle of the city. For now, two men remain in custody as the investigation continues.
