Over 6000 persons in Guyana are currently living with various forms of Sexually Transmitted Infections despite prevention and control initiatives being taken by the National AIDs Programme Secretariat. Coronavirus infections in Guyana continue to fall, with just 17 persons becoming infected in the last 24 hours. Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony has also revealed a deceleration in COVID-19 hospitalizations, noting that persons admitted to the health facilities are mature, unvaccinated, or unboosted.
