60 COMPLETE TRAINING AT BERTRAM COLLINS COLLEGE

The Bertram Collins College of the Public Service has produced its second batch of graduates. Handell Duncan was there and filed this report. Friday, marked the end of studies at the College for 60 students who completed a one-year cadet training stint at the college. The college is the brainchild of President David Granger.Handell Duncan Reports. 

The trainees will be absorbed in the public service but according to the Chairman of the Public Service Commission, public service provided by trained public servants is extremely essential in the delivery of effective and efficient services to members of the Guyanese public.

The grandaunts were reminded that they are now servants of the citizens of Guyana.

They were also encouraged to remain true to the principles of good governance and to be supportive of the Government of Guyana. Ariana Carvajal, is this year’s valedictorian. She said the knowledge and experience gained have prepared them for the realities that await them in the public service.

ddullah Ahamad was adjudged the runner-up best graduating student. Several other students received prizes in addition to their certificates. The graduation took place at the College’s Ogle location.
