GEORGETOWN, GUYANA — The Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Monday issued a wanted bulletin for Tiana Serena Lewis-King, a nursing assistant attached to the Ministry of Health and assigned to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC). Lewis-King is being sought in connection with a false claim made via voice recording in which she alleged that Minister of Health Dr. Frank Anthony instructed her to attend the post-mortem examination of 11-year-old Adriana Younge.
According to a police release, Attorney-at-law Darren Wade, who represented the Younge family at the autopsy, has confirmed that Lewis-King was not present during the examination. Supporting this, Dr. Caleb McClugen, also acting on behalf of the family, informed investigators that he recognized the voice in the circulating audio as belonging to Lewis-King, whom he identified as a recent graduate of the 2024 nursing program and a known nurse aide. He, too, confirmed her absence from the scene.
The allegation prompted a swift public denial from Minister of Health Dr. Frank Anthony, who firmly stated:
“I do not know this person. I have never met or spoken to her. If she was present, she was not there on my behalf.”
Dr. Anthony further clarified that the post-mortem was videotaped per established protocol, and a full attendance log was recorded. He confirmed that Lewis-King’s name does not appear in the official records.
Calling the incident a “deliberate attempt to tarnish” his reputation, the Minister revealed that he is consulting legal advisors and considering litigation against Lewis-King for defamation and misrepresentation.
As of Monday, Lewis-King remains at large, and authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information on her whereabouts. The GPF bulletin has been widely circulated across media platforms.
This latest development adds a controversial layer to the Adriana Younge case, which has already captured national attention amid calls for accountability, transparency, and justice surrounding the pre-teen’s untimely death.
This is a developing story.
