Also addressing the conference was Rosalinda Rasul, Head of the Diaspora Unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Rasul spoke on the power of mindset and introduced the idea of the “treasure of darkness,” encouraging participants to see life’s difficulties as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles.

“Life will knock you down many times,” Rasul said, urging attendees to reflect on how adversity can shape strength, purpose, and eventual success.

Closing the conference, Guyanese entrepreneur and technology advocate Evie Kanhai-Gurchuran delivered an empowering message on the attainability of success, reinforcing that with the right mindset and support, individuals can achieve their goals and positively impact society.

The conference concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among participants, reinforcing the message that success is not accidental but cultivated through discipline, resilience, collaboration, and a transformed mindset.
