Pinktober 2025 was officially launched on Wednesday with a strong call for early detection, education, and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
The campaign, held under the theme “Act Now, Live Strong,” is designed to inspire action, provide support for survivors, and encourage communities to unite in raising awareness about prevention and treatment.
Officials from the Ministry of Health and One Communication emphasized that the month-long campaign will focus on public outreach, health screenings, survivor stories, and fundraising activities to ensure greater access to healthcare for those affected by cancer.
The initiative also highlights the importance of timely checkups and screenings, as early detection remains the most effective tool in reducing breast cancer deaths.
Stakeholders say this year’s campaign will continue to build on partnerships with NGOs, the private sector, and the public to make a lasting impact on cancer awareness nationwide.
