Serious doubts are being cast over the integrity of the upcoming polls.
Alliance for Change Leader, Nigel Hughes, says the Guyana Elections Commission is simply not ready.
Hughes pointed to unresolved ballot issues and other administrative shortcomings, warning that these gaps could further undermine public trust in the electoral process.
He insists that unless GECOM urgently addresses the concerns, Guyanese may be heading into an election clouded by suspicion.
