President Granger has declared his intention for chancellor of the judiciary. The head of state says a transparent process has been followed in appointing the chancellor and unless opposition leader, Bharrat Jagdeo can out forward a process that is similar or superior, the government will stand by their candidate. President David Granger is adamant about sticking with Justice Kenneth Benjamin as his nominee for the post of Chancellor of the Judiciary. The Head of State says he will not be bowing to pressure with regards to the two top judicial appointments. Royden James reports.
