INAUGURAL CCCI SUMMIT SET FOR JUNE 21-22, MCCALMAN -NELSON URGES YOUNG CONTENT CREATORS TO GET ONBOARD

……URGES YOUNG CONTENT CREATORS TO GET ON BOARD…. Caribbean Content Creators & Influencers Summit Set to Launch in Guyana with Over 300 Regional Attendees GEORGETOWN, GUYANA—The highly anticipated Caribbean Content Creators and Influencers Summit will take place from June 21–22, 2025, at the Royal International Hotel in Georgetown. Over 300 influencers, creators, and digital marketing professionals are expected to attend from across the region, and the summit promises to be a groundbreaking step forward in the region’s digital economy and creator monetization movement. The inaugural event, spearheaded by Jimia McCalman Nelson, CEO of Anamak Media and Entertainment Network, is a timely and necessary initiative to bridge market gaps, boost monetization strategies, and create global opportunities for Caribbean content creators.

“The content creation industry is a billion-dollar global market, and the Caribbean cannot be left out of the conversation,” Nelson said, emphasizing the need for regional inclusion in digital and influencer economies. What to Expect: Keynote speeches from digital leaders Panel discussions with creators, marketers, and brand executives Networking opportunities for creators, businesses, and marketing professionals Strategies for brand building, platform monetization, and content growth Nelson noted that while content creation has opened doors for financial independence, youth unemployment in the Caribbean remains high despite many having access to technology. “Your phone is a moneymaker,” she stressed, urging young creators to harness the tools already at their fingertips. She further called on governments and policymakers to establish systems that support the industry’s growth: “We need more policies that enable creators to thrive—not just online, but within structured economies.” Importantly, Nelson explained that the summit is not limited to influencers. It’s also a space for communication specialists, brand managers, publicists, and digital marketers who want to understand better how to use content creators to amplify their products and services. “This summit will connect brands to influence and talent to monetization,” she said. The two-day event is expected to become an annual staple, reflecting the Caribbean’s growing footprint in the global digital space.#CCIS2025 #CaribbeanCreators #InfluencerSummit #ContentIsKing #MonetizeYourBrand #DigitalEconomyGY #GuyanaEvents #CreatorsOfTheCaribbean #ContentCreationSummit #HGPNightlyNews
