On Friday, the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security’s Night Shelter facility, East La Penitence, opened the doors to its refurbished wing to the tune of $5M.The block, which saw the upgrading of the floors, ceilings, windows, and a new washroom area, increased capacity with approximately 50 persons able to be accommodated and a total of 120 persons within the facility.
