Hockey – National Junior Tournament 2025
Action resumed at the National Gymnasium on Saturday and Sunday with thrilling encounters across the Boys’ and Girls’ divisions.
- Boys U-17 (Sat, Match 1): GCC’s Kayson Gomes & Grant Fernandes and SHC Sigma’s Oswald Fraser & Aaron Abraham all found the net in a 2-2 draw.
- Girls U-17 (Sat, Match 2): SHC Sensations beat GCC Spartans 2-0 with goals from Arian Khan & Kairya Scott.
- Girls U-17 (Sat, Match 3): Old Fort awarded a walkover vs. Hikers Junior Jets.
- Boys U-21 (Sat, Match 4): Old Fort outclassed GCC Spartans 4-1 as Simeon Moore, Deon Hope, Nkosi Saul & Yonnick Norton all scored.
- Boys U-17 (Sat, Match 5): Oswald Fraser netted all 5 goals in SHC Sigma’s 5-1 win over Hikers. Michael Payne scored Hikers’ consolation.
- Boys U-17 (Sat, Match 6): GCC Outlaws thrashed Old Fort 4-0 with Shane Sergeant hitting a hat-trick.
- Girls U-17 (Sat, Match 7): Keitanna Percival starred with 5 goals in Old Fort’s win over GCC Spartans.
- Boys U-21 (Sat, Match 8): Old Fort beat SHC S Team 3-1 (Moore, Favourite, Norton). Christian Greaves scored for SHC.
- Girls U-21 (Sat, Match 9): Rebecca Ferreira scored the winner as GCC Spartans edged Saints 1-0.
- Boys U-21 (Sat, Match 10): A 2-2 draw between GCC Outlaws (Lucas Sergeant double) and SHC S Team (Barakka Garnette & Jabari Lovell).

The Elite League Season 7 continued at the National Training Centre, Providence:
- Guyana Police Force FC 6-0 Ann’s Grove United – Barrow (2), McArthur, Griffith, Hackett & Harrigan on target.
- Monedderlust 2-1 Fruta Conquerors – Arlyn Brown (2) for Monedderlust; Simeon Lovell replied for Fruta.

Cricket – CPL 2025
The Caribbean Premier League wrapped up with fireworks at Providence.
Qualifier: Trinbago Knight Riders beat St. Lucia Kings by 56 runs (TKR 194/4; Kings 138/8). Nicholas Pooran (50 off 32) starred, while Usman Tariq took 4-35.
Final: A sold-out Providence crowd witnessed TKR claim their record 5th CPL title after a tense chase against Guyana Amazon Warriors.
