On Thursday, the Caribbean Regional Midwives Association (CRMA) held its Annual General Meeting at the Pegasus Hotel in Georgetown, Guyana. The focus of the meeting was to discuss and highlight the Caribbean’s response to the State of the World Midwifery report, which was released the previous year.
The State of the World Midwifery Report is a comprehensive assessment of midwifery services worldwide and provides crucial insights into the State of maternal and newborn care across different regions. By discussing and addressing the report’s findings, the CRMA aims to improve the quality of midwifery services and enhance maternal and newborn health outcomes in the Caribbean.
